INTERIOR: This home has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Walk through the glass doors on the lower level, into the spacious mudroom, a convenient place to unload bags or gear, or dry off after a day on the water. You'll find extra life jackets, paddles, beach towels, etc, as well as a brand new refrigerator, perfect for storing your lakeside snacks and drinks. There is also a bedroom on the lower level that looks out to the lake. It features a QUEEN sized bed and a desk area, perfect for when you need to catch up on those emails, but aren't willing to sacrifice the lake life. The main floor has an open concept living and dining space. Next to the galley style kitchen, and overlooking the water, the stunning raw edge dining table has enough seating for the whole family. The living room features a 55' TV with access to your favorite streaming services, and an L-shaped leather couch that you could just melt right into. Off of the living room, you will find a game corner which is perfect for the kids to play in or to host your Family Game Night! You will also find a full bathroom and laundry room with a brand new washer and dryer unit on the main floor.

On the top floor, the first bedroom has a KING sized bed and a window AC unit, the second bedroom has a QUEEN sized bed and a window AC unit, and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a FULL sized bed below and a TWIN sized bed atop. Here, you will also find the second full sized bathroom.

SPRING STAYS: The fishing here on Raymond Pond is amazing in the springtime! Bring your rod to fish right off the end of the dock, or bring your boat for an experience to remember. If fishing isn't your thing, enjoy the nesting loons and ducks and catch a glimpse of the bald eagles that fly overhead. This season can be tricky in Maine, weather wise, so you may be able to enjoy the deck while grilling or you may want to enjoy some R&R on the big comfy couch or enjoy a game of cards or checkers in the game corner.

AUTUMN STAYS: Check out Legacy Cove during autumn in Maine to really experience the stunning foliage changes that the Northeast has to offer. Load up the bikes and hit the nearby trails; make a trip to a nearby apple orchard; take in the local county fair; or enjoy a fall hike during your stay. Once you are back, make hot apple ciders and sip them by the outdoor fire pit under the stars.

WINTER VISITS: Warm up after a day of cross country skiing or snowshoeing on the nearby trails, or take a trip to Pleasant Mountain for some skiing about 30 minutes away. You can also visit Seacoast Fun Park for some ultimate tubing, only 15 minutes away! In the evening, curl up on the couch, while watching the snowfall, reading a good book, or playing a board game.

"Very family friendly, has all the benefits of the lakes region but just 10 mins away from Windham where you have all of your essentials for stores and amenities. Perfect place to raise a family and enjoy lake life in a quiet and rural environment. Love every moment here raising my family. "
  • Jcornish08
"Very safe town and Main Street shuts down for Halloween. Everything you need and plenty of parks to play in"
  • Jessica Brum
"They are shutting the middle school down in 2027 and building a giant mega middle school in Windham for all Windham and Raymond students. So Raymond children will have a 1 hour or more bus ride one way each day. Unfortunately the town select board doesn’t stand up for the people of the town. "
  • Jess S.
"The middle school in Raymond will be shut down in 2027. The children in Raymond will have to travel to windham for middle and high school. The elementary school is great. It’s unfortunate that the children will end up at a middle school with 1200 other students with a bus ride 60+ minutes away. "
  • Jcornish08
"I’ve been here for 5 years now and we love it here. Friendly neighborhood and the town is wonderful. Only 10 mins away from everything we need but have nice quiet space that we live in with land and privacy. We absolutely love it here. "
  • Irislynn.roberts
"Love the Raymond, ME area. Lakes all around. I can hear the loons in the morning having my coffee on the front porch. Very quiet area and your neighbors are close enough but not too close. Plenty of town and shopping in any direction from my house."
  • Iris
"Raymond is a bustling little town in the summer with all the lakes surrounding us. It is wonderful for kayaking! And the lakes a gorgeous. Overall is is a great little town."
  • Tiffany A.
"Neighbors are very kind and neighborly. The community library is very nice. Schools are great! Trick-or-treating every year is wonderful and safe here. "
  • jhdscot6
"A beautiful safe area with good schools and friendly neighbors. Winters can be challenging but not as severe as the rumors would tell you. The Midwest has it much worse and Mainers are prepared for it. Summers are incredible."
  • jhdscot6
"As the second largest lake in Maine, Sebago offers many opportunities for water sports in the summer and winter activities in the winter. Fall and Spring are truly spectacular. Overall a beautiful and safe place to live. The local residents are particularly friendly."
