Description

The home has gone through a series of renovations over the years; taking it from a semi-custom home to one that has a customized appearance, feel, and personality.

All of the original flooring has been replaced with hardwoods throughout the kitchen and breakfast nook, foyer, stairwell, and upstairs hallway. Tile flooring has been added in the wash/mud room and bathrooms.

As recently as the summer of 2011 the carpet was replaced with premium padding and carpeting.'

The master bath was destroyed and then rebuilt with custom cabinets, tile flooring, and new facilities, lighting and painting with a large walk-in tiled shower built to compliment the multi-person garden tub. This was done in conjunction with renovating flooring, lighting, and facilities replacement in the other two full baths upstairs.

Another renovation comprised installing crown molding, replacing light fixtures and door hardware, and adding a centralized-upstairs sound system complete with individual volume controls and ceiling mounted speakers per room and hallway including the master bath.

The entire inside of the house has been repainted with soft, warm, neutral colors. The three-car garage exterior and front doors have been repainted and then renovated where necessary.

The kitchen project replaced the outdated countertops and sink, lighting, and added classic-tiling throughout the kitchen cooking and storage space areas to complement the existing custom cabinets. The openness of the kitchen exhibits both a spaciousness; yet possessing a large volume of storage including a separate built-in pantry.

At the same time the formal dining room was renovated, with changes in lighting complimented by built in shadow boxes and chair rails resulting in simply a feeling of elegance and light.

Perhaps the most ambitious project resulted in taking the former partially finished-basement that resembled more of a high-end storage area versus something truly livable and functional. Already on the township tax rolls, this space was the least used and appreciated in the home.

The project added a set of double doors to portion-off a section that is now a gym complete with highly functional carpet designed for heavy wear and tear.

Additionally, a walk-up bar with refrigeration was added for entertainment with a half-wall installed along with columns, shadow boxes, and chair railing to create further separation of spaces now used for audio/video entertainment and the other used for a gamming area; now occupied by a multi-function play table including billiards.

A closet was added to house audio/video equipment and other media. This provided further separation of space in which currently a 60” high-definition unit is hung. There is ample space for a much larger unit including customized built-ins if desired.

Of course high-end audio/video hardware and wiring was installed to operate a home theatre and speaker system that is ceiling mounted in each room or section of the renovation.

The carpeting and padding is high-end with a tiled-landing area created at the bottom of the walk-out basement steps. Former enclosed, yet again unused stairwell space, has been converted to storage to accommodate cellaring wine, beer, cigars, and other spirits.

Perhaps the remaining endearing feature of the basement is the still unfinished space that could easily accommodate two to three more rooms. Included in this area is a fully plumbed and discharge pump installed possibility for a 4th full bath or kitchenette.

Finally, in the summer of 2010 the upstairs heating and cooling units plus compressor were replaced. This was done to be more energy efficient and to take advantage of the federal, state, and local energy tax breaks at the time.

"It’s really nice to live here you can go outside. Live play work. Do whatever you need to do. It’s very nice no shouting, no arguments no police activity very few crime and it is a very nice place to raise a family. You’ll be very close to the beach it’ll be very close to Philadelphia so you can easily get to where you need to, but also come home and be at a place where you can be safe at your house and not have to worry about someone bothering you in your house And if you like to go to church, you can go to church too. You can basically plan to live here for 10 2030 years or for the rest of your life you can really really plan to live. Here is really really nice to live here. I moved here from Philadelphia. I live in Philadelphia for 10 years. I was got tired of the crime I got tired of the constant headaches people taking a trash cans people putting trash in your trash cans, but when I came here, it was totally different. It was very peaceful. It was very friendly. I don’t see a lot of neighbors talking to each other, but it’s still very friendly here and the community is slowly starting to change little by little, but it’s changing for the good it seems to beand basically what you steal on the news you will not get any of that stuff here."

"PROS: Very safe, good schools, easy access to major highways, shopping & restaurants. Town park is beautiful & well kept. Rowan University, Gloucester Comm College & new Inspira Hospital nearby. Close to Philly, AC & Beaches CONS: No real town center, roads can get very congested, lots of construction. Schools are not on par with top S Jersey districts like Haddonfield, Cherry Hill or Moorestown. Taxes aren’t as high as those areas but are still relatively pricey. "
