This school is soft on bullying. Students with disabilities are treated the same as the other students and not given the support they need even with a documented legal plan in place. I can not wait until my child is out of there.

I have had 3 children graduate from Tantasqua Regional High School and were greatly prepared for college after. The class sizes are small and the teachers are very attentive which is great for student/ teacher interaction. The new building is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. Safety is enforced and relevant on campus. It is a wonderful educational place and I highly recommend Tantasqua High School. All 3 of my children are now grown adults with very promising careers because of their building base education at Tantasqua.

My son started kindergarten last September at Holland Elementary, within a month we had our house on the market. Let’s start with the appearance of the school, the playground is not kept up, the weeds overgrown, the front entrance just sad. The schools sign never has up to date information, in fact this year parents were posting first day of school photographs in front of the Holland Elementary sign that read “Have a great summer”. WOW. Where is the school pride? The school is so small it should not be that difficult to maintain a sign and the grounds. My favorite experience was, once for a meeting with the principal there were empty bottles of booze in the parking lot, that had clearly been there for days, the principals response “those must have come over night.” Well no they were there at baseball practice the day before…and that is not to even mention needles that were found by the fence near the playground. And then there is the 6th grade, currently and for the last 10 or so years is in storage trailers, which they love to boost has air conditioning, but they have no plans to expand. Sorry not sorry, my children deserve more. I cannot even get started on how severely behind both in reading and math my child was starting 1st grade. In a town less then 10miles away. Same School DISTRICT. And that was with 2 parents who are extremely active in his educational pursuits. I feel so bad for the children who have to attend this school, and if you have any interest in your children having a successful educational foundation do not send your child to Holland.
