"Concerts nearby and Breweries. Very dog friendly and lots of opportunities to get outdoors nearby. "
    • Taylor G
"Busy street with a high speed limit. No dog parks near that have grass and is fenced. There is only one that is part of an apartment complex (not free to everyone) and it’s covered with rocks, no grass at all. "
    • Ryan Nicodemus
"Easy, even when there’s traffic. It might be a bit slow sometimes, but I can always see the mountains."
    • Trulia User
"No neighborly events in this area, there is still a lot of lots that are being built on, so it's a very nice neighborhood and also is in the Frenchtown school district which is K-12 and is an excellent school and sports programs! It's pet friendly for the most part and pretty safe for kids, however the streets are not well lit and there has been thefts in the area, including car thefts! There are several major street/highways/interstates near by with fast speed limits and not any street lights so it's somewhat dangerous in my opinion when leaving to go into Missoula and neighbors usually keep to themselves for the most part! New developments are making residents that have been there awhile not so friendly and I prefer a neighborhood that is going to look out for one another! That's not here then there is also a lot of truck stops, casinos, and bars, and not any good places nearby to eat! It's a little noisy but not too bothersome once you get used to it! If you're not an animal person or kid person then this area is probably not the best!"
    • Emily Wade
"Great distance from elementary, middle and high schools for our kids. Close to grocery stores. And great walking neighborhoods."
    • Linabeana62605
"I live in the rattlesnake and I love it! It’s beautiful, peaceful, we have a market and so close to friends and I went the the elementary school which was great "
    • Mattsl
"Great place, expensive overall but very central to everything! Tree lined streets and single family homes for the most part. "
    • Emily Wade
"Drive a minimum of 15 minutes to work each day, traffic is heavy when returning home between 4 and 6"
    • Emily Wade
"Lots of dogs in the neighborhood, see neighbors walking dogs and dogs in yards. Lots of parks and sidewalks."
    • Trulia User
"the commute is rough in the winter but the further you get up the hill the more beautiful the views become. "
    • Trulia User
"We take our dog to the park down the block to play frisbee and I take her on walks with me to grab coffee or groceries. Super walkable, dog friendly spot."
    • Trulia User
"people walking their dogs is commonplace in our neighborhood. many trails and walking routes available for dog owners. "
    • Trulia User
"Not that unique. Just a nice neighborhood. It's pretty friendly and people don't usually drive too fast up and down the streets."
    • Trulia User
"Great community. Lots of kids and parks in the neighborhood. By a great school and so many people are friendly and meet new friends"
    • Trulia User
"It's a beautiful neighborhood that feels just right. Neighbors are respectful of one another and there is a huge sense of community here. I've lived here for over 10 years now, and am fortunate to have had the chance to live here. This neighborhood is very special."
    • Trulia User
"Over priced homes, too close to a university, attracts rude and entitled students. Terrible for property value, unreliable renting."
    • Trulia User
"I have lived in this neighborhood for over ten yrs now and all of the dogs I see are well loved, cared for, and are properly behaved. I've never seen a problem once. "
    • Trulia User
"Walking distance to shops, food, parks, Good schools, safety of neighborhood, wild life, and dining. "
    • Trulia User
"College kids can be rowdy, but we're nice! I see a lot of little kids running around on campus and they are always welcome!"
    • Trulia User
"commuting via bus, walking, and bicycle are all very easy and stress free. commuting via auto is pretty burdensome, because all of the streets in the neighborhood eventually end up at one of three major roads, and those three roads are all having congested during rush hour."
    • Trulia User
"It’s a nice more rural area in transition. There is starting to be more infill but it’s not overwhelming "
    • Trulia User
"I just moved into the neighborhood and being a single woman I feel very safe and comfortable especially walking around the neighborhood by myself "
    • Trulia User
"The neighborhood is very expensive to live it. Cost of living is high and very little provision for low income families. There’s also frequent crime in the area with poor traffic system and poor traffic markings or directions."
    • Emily W.
"Oh neighborhood has lots of places to walk, parks to play catch and big yards at most homes. "
    • Hilary E.
"Not enough sidewalk space to walk comfortably on. People drive fast sometimes through the area. "
    • Jessiebeard59801
"It’s very friendly. I have lived here for the last 6 years and there is a lot of kids in the area. There are schools with parks and parks close by and within walking distance."
    • ADM
"Many bike thefts! But lots of friendly folks and really good walking distance to many great spots! "
    • Catherine M. B.
"I've lived in this neighborhood for one year. The only drawback is the noise of the trains banging into each other on a daily basis."
    • Karen
"Not many kids in the area - but feels safe overall. Walking trail is nice - there used to be a playground, but it was removed."
    • Piper H.
"It feels like a safe neighborhood, and we are decently friendly with our neighbors. There are many kids playing and people walking there dogs in this neighborhood. "
    • Marymargret33
"In Missoula most persons love dogs. There is a fee for registering your dog in the city if you live here. There are tons of places to take your dogs on a walk or hike. A lot of rental places do not accept dogs. And if they do there’s a monthly fee. "
    • Mary R. .
"The neighborhood is reinventing itself! Lots of older homes with a splash of apartments and duplexes. A few new homes. Ages are nicely mixed with babies and children's laughter and play to Grandma's and Grandpa's guiding their way. Free neighborhood movies on the lawn of headstart building, along with fresh popcorn. There is a co-op grocery and free garden plots to utilize. Parks, a soccer field, basketball courts and baseball field."
    • Jonnyb237
"neighborhood parties are a thing but in the last 3 years of living out here in orchard homes I have not heard of anything going on... river access is great and multiple parks to chose from. my family loves it out here and wants to purchase a home in the area."
    • Jfclark462
"There are a lot of families and kids in the neighborhood. It is a safe area. There is a grade school, middle school and high school within walking distance in the neighborhood."
    • Teague G.
"I lived here for 6 years. West side is newer. Missoula overall is a great place to live. It’s small enough to drive to where you want to go. "
    • Cathnurse40
