To be clear this does not apply to all teachers. But, I am extremely disappointed and concerned with the way this elementary school handles the treatment of its students. Specially on the 3rd grade. There have been serious concerns involving teachers screaming at children and making statements that children have perceived as threatening or intimidating. What makes the situation even more troubling is the response from the school’s administration.When parents bring concerns involving their children to a school, they should be taken seriously, investigated properly, and handled with professionalism. Instead, my experience has been that faculty and administration are more focused on defending the teachers involved than listening to the concerns of students and parents.Elementary school children deserve to learn in an environment where they feel safe, respected, and comfortable speaking up when something happens. Teachers can absolutely maintain discipline and classroom expectations without screaming at, intimidating, or threatening children.I strongly encourage parents considering this school to ask questions about how complaints against staff members are investigated and how the school protects students when concerns are raised. Based on my experience, I am extremely disappointed with how these issues have been handled and believe the school needs greater accountability, transparency, and attention to the well-being of its students. Now my daughter is terrified of going to school and she is afraid of being bullied by the teachers. And this happened just 2 days after school began.
