5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrom what we've heard, Fallbrook Street School had some major challenges, but with new administration, a new name, and an innovative approach to teaching/learning, we've been really impressed in the last year and a half since we moved here. We move often with the military and my kids have attended lots of different schools, including an international school that cost tens of thousands per year in tuition. The support from the staff, the care they offer the students, and the unique addition to the education that comes from the Covey/Lighthouse School program puts FSA at the top of our list of schools we've attended.Parent Review5y ago19 Reviews - James E. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve been very happy with Potter, its academic offerings and responsive, supportive staff (including counseling and administration). Our son has had the opportunity to enroll in a high school level math class in 8th grade so he’ll be able to start ahead next year. Sports have also been a lot of fun. We were worried about the transition moving from a very small elementary to a large jr. high, but there was no need as our son has thrived both socially and academically in this environment. Our younger children will follow in upcoming years.Parent Review9mo ago13 Reviews - Fallbrook High School

"I love getting around Oceanside! Some of the roads could definitely use a little maintenance but it’s a great coastal town to get around."

"There is no open space to exercise a big dog. Dog park? Forget that. Recently Oceanside, on Peacock Rd, covered over grass in the median and replaced it with gravel. The one nice place to walk is now gone. "

"This is not a place for big dogs. I have a Golden. There is nothing open space to run. Older residents rant at us. "

"The dog owners are very kind and responsible with their dogs. They don’t let them bark all day long like some neighborhoods do. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood as far as barking dogs. They pick up after pets too! "
