Description

Serious inquiries only. Drive by and see if you like it then drop me an email. I may be biased but this is truly the gem of all of Tooele. Excellent location on a large street. It sits on a double lot with a large professionally landscaped yard. Over 20 Tons of large boulders were brought in. The white gravel is crushed white marble and can be raked to form your own Japanese interpretation. The backyard is an oasis. Allows you to be on vacation every minute you are home.
The asking price does not even begin to cover all the work and restoration. Most All the windows are at least double pain an most are triple. the second floor is currently being offered on airbnb and is usually booked. If you wish to continue doing so then this provides a nice extra income to help cover your mortgage. If you wish to have the space returned then it is easily done. I still use the upstairs when I don't have an airbnb guest. I am the second owner of this home and the original family took great pride in the home. It was featured in Mcall's Magazine in 1953 which gives several of the original photos. The shop/garage is 24' x 40' and is currently used for storage and projects.

This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.

  • Karly Korbe
"It’s not a very pedestrian friendly area so walking your dog can be difficult or if people’s dogs get out. "
  • Kelly W. T.
"alot of small town prejudices. Especially amongst school age kids. I would hesitate raising a child here. This part is old tooele. The shops are fun and theres a great second store. "
  • Araceli S.
"It’s a calm neighborhood. I like the school. Their is. Park close to the house. Neighbors are for sly nd very welcoming."
  • Marley M.
"I've liked here for about 8 year's now. wonderful community. would prefer more land though. The water rights and taxes are a bit off wack."
  • Krissy F.
"Music and movies in the park, artists and vendors in the park, Lanternfest and fireworks for the summer holidays. "
  • Krissy F.
"Always traffic leaving in the morning and when coming back in the evening. The back way in through Cedar Fort is the way to go if you can."
  • Krissy F.
"Lots of dogs live here. Very dog friendly. Unfortunately some dog parents leave their fur babies outside day and night allowing them to bark incessantly. "
  • Tspacefun
"I am not aware or sure I am always at work but I like that some neighbors are nosy so they let you know when people are at you place "
  • Marley M.
"Not the best schools. Most schools are filled with a since of community. Great football coaches. The commute is absolutely horrible! Too many people moving from the Salt Lake area so it's becoming Vastly over grown. This town and County as a whole use to have a great small town fill, That is NO longer. water is an issue. "
  • Nerac F. G.
"The have fun family centered events year around. The highlight for us is trick or treating down Main Street and the Arts Festival. "
  • Lykkekhelly
"my neighborhood is very quiet and upscale. Shopping is about one mile away. Dogs are taken care of and loved as family members."
  • Nerac F. G.
"We have movies in the park, art festivals, and many organized events that are family friendly. I do enjoy living here but a lot of people are very unfriendly around town. It isn’t the quite little town it once was. "
  • Agoodlass
"What public transportation?? Only one highway in & out and traffic is HORRIBLE!!! Gridlock can be up to 2 hours coming in and out during events and normal traffic hours!!"
  • Dork
"The neighborhood is so friendly that people will help each other out whenever it is needed. We have had fund raisers and huge block parties that are well attended. We know a lot of our neighbors by their first name."
  • Lance
"Good stuff in the hood everything works really well neighbors are great they help you out in the winter season with snow removal "
  • Aust D.
"Lots of people have their dog off leash and they let them bark all day while keeping them outside most days too"
  • Ciara h.
"we have very friendly neighbors that are pretty much like family I've know them my whole life, quiet neighborhood, close to the park. "
  • Puffytwerp
"The mountains are extremely beautiful!! The people are kind and there is a real sense of community!"
  • Michael O.
"It's the best neighborhood every body helps each other they there yards looking great "
  • vanessarivera4
"Live 2 houses to the south of this property and love the neighborhood. This house is a steal for anyone, there are children on either side and there are a couple of retirees across the street. The street is a mixture of ages and everyone gets along. No crime to speak of and less than a mile to any school, elementary, junior high, and high school. The local recreation center is also less than a mile. We also have a satellite campus for USU just over a mile away."
  • Doug S.
"We love this area, very quite, very friendly neighbors, great place to live and raise a family. "
