5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, this school sucks. a pregnant girl got jumped and had to go to the hospital people are vaping left and right to the point where the bathrooms are unusable. i don't like to bring up race but as a african-american student i see black students get in trouble for things that students of other races get a pat on the back for. the school gets at least 3 death threats and 1 school shooting threats every 2 months. this isnt a big problem but the school is actually infested with bugs, there was 2 rats in the school one time and the teachers were talking about it like it was a joke. also the teachers and principal dont care about the students to them you are expendable and they only need you to make the hallways look filled up. OVERALL a horrible school i am so glad that i transferred out every student acts like a fake thug and the police should actually look into this school to close it downStudent Review7mo ago11 Reviews - Northbrook Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn the 10 years we have had children at Northbrook we have had nothing but positive things to say. All of our children have or are currently attending Northbrook. Our first child is now a freshman, A student, a member of honor society, varsity band and is in all AP courses. Our second son is a fifth grader and following suit. He is also an A student and is in the gifted program (PACE). Our third son is in first grade and is at the top of his class following in the footsteps of his brothers. We have had such a positive experience through all of these years and our children are thriving academically because of the amazing faculty and staff at Northbrook. We would choose this school without a question over and over again. Don’t let the ratings fool you, this school has phenomenal teachers. Our boys are proof of the readiness for higher education that Northbrook provides. Bravo!Parent Review7y ago7 Reviews - Marine Creek Middle

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNo family involvement. Signed up for PTA and not one word has even been said. Insanely strict rules with four minute passing periods that they can only use RR at this time and are to leave their backpacks in halls, ex. teenage girls this is embarrassing to not be able to grab a feminine product in the comfort of a stall. No one should be denied a bathroom trip. Dress code that teachers don’t abide by and threaten your child with ISS over shorts that are at knee length and longer than the athletic shorts you buy from here.. Rude upper staff that teachers have even made comments of to the students, this is what makes children the best students fall through the cracks. How about a safety plan in 2023, that’s important to all of us right? The kids don’t even know what that is or looks like and not one teacher has told them in over a year..Parent Review2y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 4841 Mobile Dr.

"Commuting between this area and Dallas or Fort Worth is good overall. 170 is a great option to access Hwy 114 to Dallas and there are toll road express roads south to Fort Worth if I-35 is congested. It is often congested during rush hour at I-35 and Heritage Trace."

"This particular area of Park Glen is very crime free. Lots of sport teams activities in the park across the street. Great walking trails. You walk, or run, a half mile, a mile, even 2 or more miles! Arcadia park across the street is also a flood zone which protects us from being flooded! "
