There is a new principal this year, but we have not seen much improvement. This is not a school for children with IEP's. We have had many issues with getting our ADHD child help, even after spending hours of evaluation time with a psychologist the "specialists" at the school told us that her evaluation isn't accurate (even though she was a PhD). The school also will not pay for him to attend a local "special" school which is better suited for him. The teachers are okay, there are a couple with which we were not impressed. At open house one said "come in and look at the board, everything's there". Never introduced herself or asked who we were. There are some parents that are okay with the school, others that are eager to "get outta Dodge" just so their children may attend a better school. Not too many problems with drugs and stuff that I've heard of, but there is a huge problem with bullying and the school staff does nothing about it. We have been researching home schooling as an option for our son.
