4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo NOT accept a lottery acceptance from this school. Only the teachers in this school really care for the students, the counselor even picks favorites, usually with the female students. The P.E. teacher only cares for participation and does not care if you physically cannot participate, or even for medical reasons. The teachers there is a lottery in itself, you could get an amazing teacher who really wants the kid to flourish, or one who doesn't care for your student whatsoever.Other Review2y ago6 Reviews - Jettie S. "I wish we would have events and come together as a community because it has a lot of potential but unfortunately people around here don’t have the mentality at all. But other wise everyone minds there Buissness and stays out of the way so you’ll be fine so you won’t have anything to worry about. But we all need to get together in the East end and decide a lot of things for this community to fix a lot of issues and problem so we can work things out with everyone and everyone is happy and gets along very well and life could be way better in the East end. "I lived in this area for 20 some years, it's like all other places, some good some bad, but all in all it's been peaceful, and friendly people, like family."

"I think the neighborhood is an OK place to live it is better than mist and it is affordable. However it is not a forever home area at all. No one collects their dog mess and there is always an excess amount of garbage and broken bottles on the sidewalk and in the Street. "

"It is a lot of things kids shouldn’t see. There is a lot of hanging out in places meant for kids by adults."

"Not a good neighbourhood to raise your kids here all the 15-20 kids are selling drugs. Honestly its too risky at this end of the town. All kidnappings and murders and killings of 17-18 y/o not a good area to live on. Norther connecticut is better if you want to move to Connecticut in a house. "

"To know this area can be safe the schools safe and not have to worry about walking to the corner store and worry about someone grabbing you or possibly getting shot "

"This neighborhood is plagued by violence the police sit in your cars and do nothing there’s someone shot and killed over here every weekend drugs are at an all-time high I need to move. You should be careful after dark. Trouble is everywhere you just have to know your environment. "

"Access to all highways is near by. Easy access to get downtown for buses and trains. The neighborhood is changing for the worst. I’m taking family out of here and moving down south come 2021."

"East End of Bridgeport, CT is VERY unsafe to live and raise a family. Do NOT believe folks advertising their property for rent lying saying, “quiet street or neighborhood” ALL LIES!!! Gangs, gunshots, car thefts/break-ins, murders, infestations of mice, rats, water rats, drugs, loud music from someone car during day/late night and the person don’t care. No where to park your vehicle, on-street parking is terrible on Bishop Ave on corner of Stratford Ave. Your vehicles will be TOWED during snow season!!! This is the reason I moved from that HORRIBLE neighborhood. DO NOT INVEST YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY IN THAT NEIGHBORHOOD!!!! #LessonsLearned"
