Description

A Single family, 2 bedroom, 1 & 1/4 bath. 1,164 Finished Sq.Ft.
Lot size: o.44 acre (19,166 sq.ft.). Yard is mostly fenced with chain length, except across the front (easement road) by a cinder block wall 4 ft. high. Family owned since 1977. (40 yrs.)
Very quiet neighborhood, with a grassy meadow scene outside large bay window, where Deer can be seen frequently. If there are no dogs, deer will jump the fence for the fruit in the summer, and sometimes sleep in the back yard.
Improvements to Home: 475 Esping Way. ( Named by the late neighbor next door.)
A New Roof and Gutters installed in 2013 (w/30 yr. Warranty from Lowes). New wood flooring installed in the kitchen, bathroom, hall, and 2 bedrooms. A New Natural Gas Wall Heater + fan was replaced in 2014. New paint in the bedroom and Large living/dining room with a huge White Quarts Fireplace w/woodstove insert built by longtime resident Henry Olson (rock hound & stone-mason). Evaporative cooling in the living room cools the home to 72* in summer.
Following the eviction of renters in 2014, A new front door/frame and lock were installed. A new kitchen faucet, two glass windows, and a bathroom door was repaired. I am still working on repairs and remodel as funds become available.
Just off the garage is a utility room with space and connections for a washer & dryer, and large drain-wash sink plus a shelved pantry and coat rack. A dry walled 2 car garage with an automatic garage door opener allows pushbutton access to the driveway. Kitchen shelves on the east wall and a nice work bench and skylight complete the garage.
Three (3) storage units are on the property, and one covered wood shed. Two schools are within walking distance on the gravel road. A nicely landscaped yard has year round blooming shrubs and bulbs with a little orchard of fruit trees including: 3 Cherry, 2 Plum, 2 Apricot, 2 Pear, 1 Apple, several Pine Trees, and Evergreens adorn this 1/3 acre. Just outside the utility room is a windowed covered Patio for Ping Pong, a hot tub or, just plain storage. Beyond this patio is a Small separate hobby room with a toilet, sink. and air conditioner, (1/4 bath). Also, more storage under roof.
In 1991 the Electricity box was changed from knob & tube to the modern breaker box by Mc laughlin Electric. Also, a new 1000 gallon septic tank and leach lines were installed for black water, plus the old 700 gallon tank was rerouted to catch gray wash water so as not to destroy the chemical action in the main tank.

"Many dog and cat owners in my apartment complex, countryside setting nice for walking, but you do have to pay extra for a pet"
  • Amy Menesini
"We are currently moving into a 55+ gated community in Paradise. We are moving out of a three-plex in lower Paradise that the whole neighborhood burned from a wild fire so it has no trees which is unfavorable. "
  • Amy Menesini
"There is a lot of construction going on constantly to rebuild the town after the fire so there’s a lot of noise pollution due to that. There is constant road work happening too and planned power outages are a bit too frequent for our liking and there’s too much dust from the construction as well. It’s not currently a peaceful place to live. "
  • Virginia
"Everyone here seems to be involved in some part of our community. Love this place! We have several wonderful churches here that also participated together to make this a special community."
  • Tamara
"This is a very friendly neighborhood, where everyone waves or says hello when passing each other while walking or driving around. We have always felt safe while living here. And, it will be beautiful again! "
  • Alexander R.
"A few summer activities, nothing special. A summer fair, the lake, a few swimming holes, food, liquor, drugs"
  • Carmenelibac
"Great community great for sports and family tightknit neighbors know each other pretty wellMost people will move here and live here for the rest of their life"
  • Cexum
"Rural atmosphere with nice homes. In city limits but feels like living in the country. Paradise is a nice community in the mountains"
  • Iqra A.
