5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, you want your kids in a safe learning environment. Staff is always seen in the mornings and afternoons too, including the Principal. They are always engaged.Academics is definitely the focus, and it shows in their expectations. High expectations and focus is a good thing! This is why we’ve sent multiple kids to school here. Safety and academics are good…but having fun is important too. Even teachers and Administration dress up, get slimed, and make it fun for kids.If you like clubs and extracurricular activities, this place is for you too!Parent Review3y ago15 Reviews - White Station High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhite Station has been my 2nd home and will forever be a part of my identity. The opportunities for a higher-quality education are second to none in the Memphis area. The diversity and course rigor are exactly what make WS great. The drive to achieve something higher cannot be more evident at this school. The teachers are very competent, and this explains the outstanding test results. This school consistently nurtures leaders to the top of the college food chain. I will forever treasure the Spartan legacy.Student Review8mo ago11 Reviews - White Station Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy family has had an outstanding experience at White Station Middle School (WSMS). I had one child graduate in 2023 and another that will graduate 8th grade this year. Both are in the optional program and transitioned easily from elementary school. The school does a great job of welcoming new students and getting them acclimated. There is a great orientation in the summer as well as a popcorn social for new students to get to know one another. The academics are top notch with a wide variety of classes ranging from traditional to honors to the opportunity to take high school courses onsite at WSMS in 7th and/or 8th grade if they qualify. The teaching staff is excellent with many having taught at WSMS for many years. There are many extracurricular activities to choose from such as extensive sports offerings and approximately 40 clubs. The academic clubs are very accomplished, winning competitions at the state and national levels. Many of the athletic teams are city champions and compete well in state competitions. There are many musical offerings including three orchestras, a number of choirs, an acapella group, and the school band. Last year, WSMS students made up 25% of the All-West TN Orchestra. The musical offerings are excellent and enriching for the entire student body, even for those who do not participate and only attend the concerts. The parents association has been very welcoming to me and I have enjoyed getting involved. Both of my kids made friends quickly and it is a fun and positive social environment. Many students matriculate to White Station High School, which has the most robust academic offerings in the county. WSHS has more AP classes than any school in the area, more National Merit Semifinalists than any school in west Tennessee, more than 50 clubs, as well as robust athletic offerings.Parent Review5mo ago23 Reviews - Check out schools near 471 E Erwin Dr.

"YWCA, Liberty Bowl and it's a very nice library on poplar. it's nice restaurants and other ammunities that you can use totally to your advantage. It's a very underrated area and it's good to build your knowledge of Memphis. Coming from Atlanta it was easy to love this area. Forcefully this security is important throughout this new journey. Daily traffic is undoubtedly an issue throughout this new city. Memphis has outstanding food. I mean the food is outstanding all over the city."
