"Lavallette is very dog friendly. The bay side of town is great for walking a dog. Poop bag stations are located in the area and owners are really good at picking up after their dogs."

"Properties are usually inherited, not bought and sold. Very family friendly, narrow part of the island (few mosquitoes due to the wind gusts!) Easy walk to bay or beach. Restaurant, bakery, bagels, frozen yogurt and surf shop right there! Nice association amenities, coolers allowed on the beach (it matters!)...mostly owners, not too many rentals."
