"Great commute. Easy commute of 20 mins to Boston. 10 mins from NH. 1 hr from Maine. Great location for commuting in any direction. Easy access to highways. "
  • Chris
"Very easy drive to where I work. Carpooled a few times too with very nice people but people seem to drive way under the speed limit which can slow things down, speed limits posted are very inconsistent"
  • Amie
"My neighborhood is great, safe and family friendly. It is just too bad that the price of houses and not affordable for the average person."
  • Lauren H.
"I’ve lived in Andover for over 20 years. It’s family friendly, safe, and full of historical charm. The best location in my opinion is downtown area, near Phillips Academy."
  • Arthur
"I see a lot of people walking dogs on trails and in the neighborhood but I have not seen any dog parks or areas for dogs to be off of a leash. "
  • Kristin.wilsonanizer48
"And over has a large percentage of the population that is well educated well employed and financially responsible. My neighborhood, in particular, is a cul-de-sac, off of a cul-de-sac, off of a cul-de-sac, neighboring Harold Parker forest. People will come and park at the edge of our neighborhood to walk their dogs. Everyone is courteous that there are children and drive slowly. Wide open streets with almost no traffic."
  • Michele C. O.
"It’s walking distance to shop and restaurants and several other amenities that make life easy and convenient. It is also within walking distance to the commuter rail. "
  • Sparrowsarrow
"Clean quiet neighborhood nice people nice street busy traffix area walking distance to elementary school Nice people nice yard Close to golf course Close to Highway "
  • Ray
"Living off 28 isn’t the ideal location in the city. But the location offers the best bang for your buck. Neighbors aren’t as friendly when you’re a minority. Overall, fair city with great schools that is not walkable. "
  • EricaL
"I’ve never lived anywhere with such a great neighborhood feel. Friendly neighbors that aren’t stuck up. Kids playing but respectful. Love it!"
  • Jessica L.
"Morning commute to the city along 93S is long. Commute home is A little shorter. There is good access to commuter rail"
  • Trishcotter
"Our neighborhood is near Rt. 93 so the commute to Boston is good if you leave early in the morning. "
  • Ehlynch7
"Usually calm and light heading through North Andover except for the past few weeks due to the gas leaks"
  • Sewitman
"I drive seven minutes down the road. I work in the same town I live in. Traffic around Andover has grown and it is somewhat of a problem."
  • Sam M.
"I see many dog owners walking dogs without leashes. This of course can be dangerous to other dogs and people."
  • Trees242
"I see dogs being walked all the time in my neighborhood, during the day, but not after dark. I do t hav a dog now, but lived walking early in the AM"
  • Sam M.

  • Rosanabcampos
"A small town with security and tranquility. Pleasant, clean and green streets. Efficient public services."
  • brianb393
"Both Boston Magazine and the Boston Globe Magazine named Central Street as the best street in Andover. From having lived here for many years I agree. Want good food or small town excitement? Walk to 40+ restaurants, doctors, churches and schools. Want nature - 2 separate areas of preservation land on the street. Want your kids to feel connected to the town - they can easily walk to middle school, Andover High School and Phillips Academy - they can walk the 1/2 mile to Main Street. Like History - Fantastic, stately old homes - all maintained and preserved. Like friendly neighbors - we're here in droves"
