The house is predominately floored with ceramic tile and laminate with new berber carpet in two bedrooms. There is an office, a 6pr glove and boot dryer along with a ski/board workbench, an additional washer/dryer and storage shelving in the partially finished basement. The 28X48 insulated garage has door openers, storage cabinets, a 5hp 60 gal air compressor, a workbench and a 10,000 lb. USA made automobile lift that's 10 yrs old and used only personally. The garage is capable of parking 7 cars with one on the lift. Behind the garage is an attatched 12X20 shed for garden equipment that also houses a 8,500 watt standby electric start generator that will power the whole house in a power failure.
We are surrounded by trees and a hedge on 3.5 sides giving privacy and a large front side and back yard for family activities. The yard along with a 3yr old 14X36 pressure treated back deck gives plenty of entertaining room for young and old alike. Flower beds and perennials are abundant. In the winter, with the leaves gone from the westward trees we look directly up at Jay Peak Ski area and you can see the skiers with binoculars. Those same trees both protect from harsh winter winds and provide nice back yard afternoon shade in summer!
Energy efficient with a newer propane boiler providing heat via baseboard and radiant. Summer cooling via open windows or window air conditioners.
Window quilts on the majority of windows to help with winter and summer heat transfer as well as privacy. Whole house is rain guttered with Gutter Guards to elliminate the twice yearly gutter cleaning chore. Cedar siding recently re-stained. 30 yr. shingles 2008.
