The staff at BES goes above and beyond what is expected to provide a culturally sensitive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students to safely participate. The teachers and staff at BES care about their students on a personal level. Like any school it has its issues, but the team continues to work on ways to grow and it shows.Last year they won a state award for excellence in education. It was well deserved. I am happy to be a parent in this community.

Profile Middle School far surpasses the standard middle school education. Contrary to many other experiences, it will challenge, and embrace its education from ever angle. The teachers make hard material easy to learn. It seems so clear, now, but unfortunate I didn't realize, or come to appreciate it at the time. The atmosphere is fantastic - students get eased into the high school environment, and are provided with all the support a middle schooler needs. The Math and Science departments, although composed of merely two teachers in the middle school, provide many opportunities for students to excel within the comforts of their help, and are eased along all the way. Family Math-Science Night is just one way these departments embrace each other to progress the learning of Math and Science, for all ages. The humanities department, English and Social Studies, are just the same. Often, the teachers will come together to work on a joint project for the classes to work on, much like the very recent Book Posters, as they were called. In these Book Posters, a student must read a book, complete a book report and another report relating to a real-life aspect of it. They were truly fun.

Highly supportive school. Our daughter is exceeding our wildest expectations academically, athletically and socially. This school has given our daughter the opportunities to succeed. Consistently ranked one of the best high schools in New Hampshire.
