2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm a recent graduate from Arcadia High School and yes there is more of an emphasis on sports, but that is because the school has many gifted athletes. The Music Department is amazing, how many schools have half the student body in band and/or choir? The Math department was lacking, but the new teachers are helping to get the department back in great shape. The school offers Spanish and French now in the past it offered German. The English Department is wonderful the teachers are great and have a passion for what they do. The Social Studies/ History Department is great with different teachers that have interesting ways to ingage their students. It is true that the school has very few strict discipline referal, but there are very few troube makers in the school. Due to the rich eduacational atmosphere at Arcadia the 2011 graduating class had 4 valedictorians. So is Arcadia a bad school? No, it has its flaws like any other school, but I'm proud to be a graduate from a great school.Student Review15y ago - Arcadia Elementary School
