Lee Branch can be accessed directly from the neighborhood without getting on major roads. There is also a public golf course as well as a members-only pool and tennis club. "

Lots of restaurants, parks including Oak Mountain with its lake, Heardmont Park, new Shelby Co. library, great churches, and close access to I-65, I-20, and I-459.
