"Personal ya really calm neighborhood. The only bad thing is when I am driving to my house people tend to walk in front of you vehicle like nothing "
  • Bur Side
"The commute is easy Metro transit near by. And yes 10 minutes away from downtown but traffic is really bad to travel freeway is less than five seconds away. Tuesday Thursday are any given day. The Train has roads blocked until it passes. So it will take30 minute are longer to travel downtown."
  • AD
"Lots of traffic in this area. But good highway access. Lots of trains that run frequently as well. Lot of stray dogs running around but many people still on bikes or walking."
  • Abigail Demery
"Terrible area not for “out-of-towners.” Close to downtown but in a very unfriendly neighborhood. Do not recommend for families or pet owners."
  • David P.
"Very nice area. Neighbors are friendly and the area is quiet and clean. Great location. Minutes from Downtown, EADO, Midtown and the East river Project"
  • David P.
"Great location, Easy commute to Downtown, Denver Harbor project, LoDo and Midtown. Quiet and safe neighborhoods. Great appreciation."
  • Grayson
"In development. Property values are rising. Hopeful future. I don’t think the public transit is convenient, the neighbors are friendly. Great sunsets. Great view of downtown. Nice access to the hike and bike trails."
  • Trulia User
"It's a quiet neighborhood, everything is 15 minutes away. I've lived here 7 years, never had any issues."
  • Laureneasely
"Great! Easy to get to midtown/downtown, close to everything, easy to get to my job in Sugarland. Most places can be conveniently reached from fifth ward. Smooth, easy commute. "
  • Victoria C.
"I really don't know seeing that the most dogs in this area don't have owners. and plus we not worried about dog owners we need better things for the children in this area"
  • Corina C.
"Dangerous area to live in. Very poorly maintained. Although there is always cops, when called and needed they never show up. City of Houston also writes tickets for minor things and doesn’t comply with all other houses. "
  • Ian
"Up and coming neighborhood. Really close to downtown for those that work in the city. Easy access to Minute Maid Park, BBVA Compass stadium, and of course Saint Arnold Brewery. New bike paths are being added all the time. "
  • Ciera R.
"Filthy A-banded dirty there is Literally nothing here I don’t know y they have a church and. Funeral home on every Corner"
  • Tyler D.
"We have the new potato close by. Great neighborhood bar that’s also dog and kid friendly. We’ve been a lot of people from the neighborhood. Many young couples are moving here. "
  • vancoozy
"Within 5 minutes from downtown Houston. Public transportation within 25 feet of home. Easy accessible to the major freeways."
