7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe absolutely love Afton Elementary!! They really do care about the children and also about their families!! We moved up here in December of 2018 my granddaughter at the time was in a Philadelphia Elementary school. It was like pulling teeth trying to get their attention , trying to get help, trying to have your child's needs met! at that point I thought it was normal until we transferred her into Afton 2 months before second grade ended in 2019. Within "2 weeks" of transferring to Afton it was as if a light switch was flipped on!!! They really care about the children & are absolutely wonderful teachers! She just graduated 5th grade there this past summer and is now entering Middle School and she is driving and she is well balanced and I honestly believe the teachers at Afton Elementary absolutely prepared her and gave her the mental tools she needed to be able to drive and socialize and want to go to school! She loves school and it's because of after that elementary! I recommend this school highly! it's the top of my list in Bucks County! I've never given a review on anything before but this is worth doingParent Review3y ago5 Reviews - William Penn Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy first child that went through this school started in accelerated classes and after three years was in the remedial classes. He had a couple great teachers but most classes had minimal work and the teachers did not provide help even when asked. Assignments were disorganized and difficult to follow. Second child made it through one year and then had some mental health issues. Asked for help, guidance, empathy from teachers and staff and was ignored or belittled. Teachers would not help or were dismissive. Guidance ignored my requests for help or suggestions. Principal was disinterested and not paying attention during meetings. Ultimately, we were sent truancy letters even with multiple doctor’s notes. Chose to leave Pennsbury all together.Parent Review11mo ago6 Reviews - Pennsbury High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGood: The school has great teachers. Of course, there will be some that are not great, but the majority of my teachers have been very enthusiastic about their job, genuinely wanting to help us learn. Some people have had complaints that many teachers do not teach well, including the ones that I have had, but I have not yet encountered this problem. I'm assuming it has to do with the different ways people learn, but I know many of my teachers do try to incorporate different styles of learning. I also think their programs are ok. For example, I have an IEP, and my personal experience with it has been pretty good. I also like the various clubs that they offer. I like that they allowed a political awareness club that allows students from many political backgrounds to discuss opinions on real-world issues.Bad: The school is being remodeled, but my experience with it is with the old version, which is not good. I've had brown water fall from the roof onto my head and into my eyes, and the roofs tend to crumble onto us. Walking between the two campuses is also a pain when the weather is bad, and the buses they have for us to use typically fill up before classes even let out because some teachers let kids out early. It also depends on where you are in the school, so if you're upstairs in east or towards the front left of the building in west, getting to the buses in time is basicly imposible. As for the food, I've had some bad experiences and witnessed some bad experiences. This includes undercooked pizza (literally the texture and taste of uncooked dough, happened multiple times), over cooked pizza (bottom was completly black, like someone had painted it with black paint. tasted like char), moldy doughnuts, chicken with what I'm assuming was a vein but looked more like a dead cockroach inside of it (the person who ate it promptly threw up at the sight of it), expired apple sauce (tasted sour and fizzy and had a bad smell to it), and more undercooked/overcooked incidents. Going back to the IEP and other disability programs, I would like to note that, while I had a great experience, I've seen people have worse experiences. For example, a person who was supposed to supervise a girl in my class instead chit-chatted with other kids in the class and basically ignored the girl unless she really needed help, and she always seemed upset when she had to help.I would write more but I'm at the word count so it's a good school for learning but the enviroment isn't the bestStudent Review4mo ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near 450 Scott Ct.

"Beautiful, well-respected outdoor space to share. Not too much commercial establishments but quaint local vibe if you prefer road less traveled. Great family community. Except on weekends, plan to be away on weekends. Warm weather brings a lot of tourists. "

"Great location no matter where you have to go. Centrally located. Only major issues are the train crossings when you are trying to get somewhere on time and are running late. The other issue for some reason there is a major stretch of 95 or whatever the new number is that does not have sound barriers."
