Instead of focusing on memorization, students develop a deeper understanding of concepts and how they apply in the real world. Students are taught to understand the “why” behind what they’re learning and to see themselves as part of a larger, global community. We’ve seen our child become more curious, confident, and engaged as a learner. She's grown, not just academically, but as a thoughtful communicator and problem solver—skills that will matter far beyond elementary school.The teachers and staff are another standout. Communication is consistent, transparent and thoughtful. We regularly receive updates on what’s happening in the classroom and how our child is progressing. More importantly, there’s a clear sense that teachers genuinely care about each student's success and well-being. Academically, expectations are high, but students are supported in reaching them and the school performs strongly compared to others in the state. But what matters more to us is how that performance is achieved: through a balance between rigor and whole-child approach that values social-emotional development, creativity, and collaboration alongside core academics.The school also fosters a strong sense of community. There are lots of opportunities for families to get involved and engage in meaningful ways.
