Built around 1914, this Queen Road farmhouse retains many original features. The antique brass hardware and ripple glass in the windows are only a few historic characteristics that have been retained. The home still enjoys many of its original pine floors, wainscoting, as well as shingle and board & baton siding. Many of the original beadboard ceilings have been restored. The land is level and contains many old-growth trees, many predating the house. The property has been designated as a "Treasured Tree Preserve" due to the stately Cedar, Oak and Walnut trees that grace the property. 45 Queen Road is a quiet oasis yet it's close to schools, shopping, restaurants, and parks. An updated vintage home that still retains its original charm is hard to find. The electric was updated in the 1990s, the heating system in 2018, and the septic was rebuilt in 2010.
