About this House

Please make FIRST CONTACT with SELLAR DIRECTLY for the home facts, information and details. Email to get an immediate response and arrange for a viewing at, lambfries9534@gmail.com. An agent may make arrangements for viewing, however, it is better to call seller directly and get first hand professional information and negotiations as well as save costs at closing. I am showing the house with Covid safety in mind and relating honest information about the house. QUICK OUT-OF-STATE viewing made easy.

This house is in a fantastic location for a ski home right off highway 91. There is easy access to Mt. Snow, and Stratton Mountain. This finely built home is a three story Colonial with a full basement and 3rd floor walk up attic which enables the buyer a possibility for adding extra finished rooms or apartment. This house has a solid insulated feel with rare plaster walls, all hardwood floors, blown in insulation, warm with bright sunlight through lots of windows in the winter, cool in summer with sufficient shade. There is a separate garage, large basement for refinishing, pretty sun room and uniquely special hand painted murals. This is a nice neighborhood, within walking distance to tennis courts, park with pool, golf and cross country ski club, shopping in our pedestrian downtown, restaurants, pharmacy, salon, stores, skatepark and especially the town ski tow. This pretty home has a shady private backyard and wisteria hedge screening in the front yard, perennial flower gardens throughout. Some photos show the full floor attic, basement and sun room. I use these areas for storage, hence the clutter. House price has been adjusted for the cost of minor work such as new shingles for garage roof.

  • Kelly Dias
"Itโ€™s a great neighborhood to walk dogs. Sometimes bears come through so if itโ€™s bear season you have to be careful. People are respectful and greet each other and we know each othersโ€™ dogs. "
  • Jessica Brown
"I drive through downtown to work and there is some negativity on the streets by way of homelessness and drug abuse/ mental illness. But this neighborhood is still overall a place that I love to live . "
  • Kelly Dias
"Pet friendly, willing to help out and get to know pets. Lots if grass and forested trails for walking and hiking with dogs. "
  • Isaac S.
"Great small town in New England-artsy, funky, liberal. Nice amenities for the size of the town. Still some amount of crime-like everywhere these days."
  • Isaac S.
"Dogs are welcome. Neighbor s are friendly. Houses are well maintained. I feel safe. Walkable neighborhood."
  • Jcoursem3
"Neighbors are friendly and help each other out. Get togetherโ€™s are organic and easy because of our close proximity. "
  • Deanshippee
"A lot of people trust their dogs without a leash. Itโ€™s really annoying especially when every dog owner in. Brattleboro should know about our leash law."
  • Isaac S.
"Car, 5 minutes to work. Few stoplights in town. Friendly drivers except those from Massachusetts and New York. Main Street gets bogged down with traffic but there are several back ways to get around town. Good city for driving in general."
  • Grace
"I grew up in this neighborhood & am raising my daughter here. I love how bike friendly the neighborhood is and that we can walk both downtown & to the farmerโ€™s market."
  • rhc3vt
"Deteriorating economics, falling home prices, difficult to sell homes, few jobs, really bad schools, more and more poor people in trailer parks. There's not much of a future here."
