Location? End of a cul de sac on a decent-sized lot in an established and safe neighborhood. Check.
Charm? Built in 1938 with coved ceilings, ached entryways, a fireplace with mantle, a built-in iron board closet and surrounded by mature trees. Check.
Updates? Total remodel of upstairs 2012. New Hardi-Plank siding exterior doors, Milgard windows in garage in 2013. Removed carpet and tile in downstairs to reveal original oak hardwood floors. Remodel of entryway and kitchen with granite counter tops, lighting, crown molding, sink, new outlets and new floor 2014. New Leaf Guard gutters on house in 2106. Electricity, windows, plumbing and roof were all done by previous owners. Check.
Room for fun? Recently built, FULL SIZE play structure with swings, slide, and raised platform with roof. Newly created fire pit area. Raised beds for planting an annual garden. Established asparagus patch, strawberry patch, 10 blueberry plants and trellised raspberries and boysenberries. Check.
Will add updated photos this weekend. For now, look at what we started with and prepare to be amazed.
We are preparing to sell but still need to find our next project. Once we find it we will be ready to move fast. As of right now, we are not in a rush to sell. Will begin offering appointments to see home after November 13th.
