i’ve been at flomaton since eighth grade and now i’m a senior, there are fights constantly, teachers not being treated well and it shows through them talking about it TO THE STUDENTS. i cannot count the amount of times i’ve been searched because of other people. and i’m a senior this coming up year and i wish i could move schools because now we can’t even have our phones throughout the day. they think they can treat us like prisoners and im not here for it. everything is just a money racket for the school bc they waste their budget on $600 metal detectors. there’s mold and shit all over the bathroom constantly, paper towels stuffed in the soap dispensers. janitors are so overwhelmed apparently they can’t do their job. the nurses are always “on lunch” and gossiping with eachother. put people in classes they don’t ask for and don’t need and then make them take extras their last year for classes they weren’t GIVEN in the first place. if i could give this school 0 stars i would.

I don't really agree with the tecahing,most of the times if you don't understand the topic your learning in Ela the elaborate teacher does not help and she gives tons of work and wants mostly everything done my Friday and she's very strict. The science teacher switches out a lot. The social studies teacher is always rushing you and expects everything to be done in a day which is very pressuring

I love this school because I learn stuff I like and it is fun thank you for letting me go to a awesome school called flotation elementary
