Rosario Candela, one of New York's most famous architects, was best known for designing many of the city's buildings of splendor in the 1920s and 1930s with grand rooms of brilliant scale and proportions. This particular building was built in 1928. It is a handsome prewar structure with a canopied entrance. Standing 15 stories, it is finished in red brick with a two-story marble base. Its exterior is replete with wrought iron details, distinctive lanterns, and sidewalk plantings.

Our neighborhood has a nice promenade in the river for jogging, look at the river and two Dog parks. The dog parks host seasonal events like Halloween parties and costume contests."
