About this House

This Victorian home, just a short walk from downtown Bainbridge, is ready for new owners to restore its historic beauty. Positioned along one of Bainbridge's most storied residential corridors, this property sits in an area celebrated for its preserved late 19th- and early 20th-century architecture. Evans Street is home to several landmark residences, and this house carries the same sense of character and craftsmanship that defines the neighborhood's early growth era. With its soaring 12-foot ceilings, original fireplaces, classic pocket doors, and detailed Victorian trim, the home offers a glimpse into the architectural charm that has made this part of Bainbridge so admired. Inside, nearly 3,000 square feet of space provides a generous and flexible layout. The 4-bedroom, 3-bath design includes a large kitchen with ample counter space overlooking the living area, creating an open and inviting flow ideal for gathering and entertaining. The upstairs features oversized bedrooms, including one with direct access to the balcony, a perfect spot to enjoy the quiet, tree-lined surroundings. The large front porch adds to the home's Southern appeal, and the in-ground vinyl pool offers a great foundation for outdoor enjoyment. Please note: this home needs repairs. There are areas requiring wood replacement, roof attention, and bathroom updates. Several fixtures will need to be reinstalled or replaced. This property is truly a TLC restoration opportunity, ideal for someone who appreciates historic homes and wants to bring a Victorian back to life, allowing it to shine again with the grandeur it once had. Cash or conventional financing only. Home is currently occupied; additional photos coming soon.

"I've live in my neighborhood for over 6 years and have never had any problems. I do not have any problems with the neighbors. "
  • realesister
"I purchased an investment property behind this home. I have been working on it for 2 months. I found the neighborhood to be very peaceful and the neighbors very helpful and friendly. Majority of the homes are well kept and landscaped. Most days you don't even know that there are houses near you, due to the quiet neighborhood. I would recommend it."
  • Respooner
"Great small town with access to Tallahassee, FL just 45 minutes away and Albany, GA just an hour away. Great place for hunters and fishermen to spend time. Local park with Flint River access is host to several professional bass fishing tournaments each year. "
  • Jervin
"A wonderful place to get away from the hussel and bussel of the city. 30 Minutes north of Tallahassee and one of the most beautiful lakes in the Eastern U.S. Everyone around the lake is friendly and always ready to help out should the need arise. Located about 2 miles from the famous "Wingate Lodge". Birth of the "BASS" tournment program. "
  • Jervin
"One of only a view lots not requiring a Walkway down to lake. Drive the golf cart right down to dock. Big Water view of Lake Seminole. One of about 8 exclusive Lake front lots on the entore lake. Surrounded by much larger homes ( 3,000 to 11,000sf homes). Nothing like this small area south of North Georgia......."
  • Just M.
"This is a very nice neighborhood. It's extremely quiet, I mean, it's rare that you hear anything other than lawmowers and sprinklers. Good neighbors, mix of older and younger residents. Very, very safe. No crime here at all. The area is a circle and is excellent for walking. It's pet friendly, although there is the occasional dog or two roaming at times, but none are vicious. Overall, this is one of the very best neighborhoods in Bainbridge. It's just unreal at how quiet it is. I love it!"
