6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEverytime I've had an issue its been handled in a timely manner and a way that I thought it should be handled!!! My children love their school and all the employees at the school!!! I as well love the employees I love how the teachers don't just have an amazing bond with your child they maintain the same bond with the parents as well!!! I'm very pleased that my children attended pes and hate this is their last year there.Other Review10y ago6 Reviews - Pinson Valley High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf anyone is thinking of sending their kid(s) here, don’t. I got harassed and stalked home by another student last year and the counselor and principal didn’t do anything. It got brushed off as a “crush” despite the fact I couldn’t safely stay home anymore. We also have a lot of fights here, not to mention all the drama. The little safety things you use to block the door during drills and shootings don’t actually work and can be forced out with ease, it happened once during a drill. Some of the teachers here are the sweetest souls I have ever met but this school just isn’t worth it. There’s far too many safety issues and too little support for any of the positives here to be worth it. I’m being genuinely serious when I say to send your kid elsewhere, not here.Student Review1y ago6 Reviews - Kermit Johnson School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers turn blind eye to certain things if you ask me they are the bullies. I thought by bringing my son here will be the best turn out it's the worst. I read the comments before sending him to this school thought maybe it will be a different outcome. No I was wrong.Parent Review3y ago8 Reviews - Rudd Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school seriously needs to be shut down. Most teachers here have favoritism which makes some students have to work harder than others. There are a few teachers who only treat their gender and their skin color correctly, for example the art teacher. I have reported her to the counselor multiple times, only to be fussed at by the COUNSELOR. This school even grades our lunch period, and you can get held back due to LUNCH?? One of the gym coaches speaks weirdly to the girls, I have heard him call one of them "baby girl" and he always watches them during exercises. This school is also extremely unsanitary. It has roaches, spiders, etc. The bells are always off, and the dress code is unfair. Males are able to sag, wear skinny jeans, and I've even seen some boys doing inappropriate stuff during class... While the females get dress coded for wearing shirts that don't go down mid-thigh. I have even seen a kid get screamed at and sent to the office for asking for a passage in order to do their work?? Do not send your kids here, please.Other Review1y ago11 Reviews - Check out schools near 4440 Ruby Carson Blvd #1.

"There are a lot of dogs here that are not contained. I can’t walk my dog in this neighborhood. I have an aggressive breed of dog and there are so many dogs around here there just roam and wander around."

"Trunk or treating at churches, food can drives during different times of the day year, Easter egg hunts for the public, food gatherings and sometimes people come and perform songs and music, dancing. Avondale park is also a really lovely place to have a picnic or walk your dog(s) and they even have different pavilions equipped with electric outlets for bigger events, even weddings! With the library near by as well! It’s an overall lovely place to start a new or just somewhere fresh where the people are lively and usually friendly. :)"
