3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGodwin has come a long way. My daughter is 6th grade in the IB program and takes French. She tracks all her weekly grades online and integrates technology into her assignments. She takes advantage of the afterschool grant program t/w/th that assists with homework, but still allows for team sport participation. She experienced some reverse race discrimination comments by students (she is white) when competing for a position on a team, but made the team and held her ground with the students. It is a diverse school, which is a good thing, but there are some cultural differences that need to be worked on. Also even more attention to creating "kindness" by 8th graders towards those in the younger grades as there is a big age difference between 6th and 8th grade - perhaps too much in this generation. The teachers are responsive but I'd like to see a bit more "spirit" and "pep" with the administrator/tive team.Parent Review11y ago11 Reviews - Kyle R. Wilson Elementary School

I love that is small school and all the staff is very very nice, you feel like a family when you are there. "I know the area very well. I’ve been here for almost 40 years. The area has evolved whenever I got here at the mall wasn’t even up. Depending on the area that you live in, you’ll be in good shape for the most part. You definitely need a car."

"Woodbridge for the most part is fine. It’s got its rougher spots for sure. I’ve been living here and around the area for over 30 years."

"Good community. Good people. Rail line is right down the street creating transient people concerns and many renters live in the older part of the neighborhood."

"The only thing I don’t like about this neighborhood is people not stopping at the stop sign at all. And when I do stop they horn up and makes me feel uncomfortable."

"Honestly, I answered all questions and I was agreed with most of people but because I live in a quiet neighborhood doesn’t make it special, specially main roads speed limit or not making stop signs…"

"I currently do not have a commute for work. I've lived in this area for many years. (since 1981) it has grown from country to suburbs with bus routes available in that time. traffic has become an issue with the building of all the homes and apartment communities."

"The neighborhood's main Street has a very busy road during rush hour. Many people use it as a shortcut. A bit dangerous to dogs if they're not in a fenced yard or leashed. Many dogs owners live here and are fine keeping their dogs inside the house or yard. "

"The area/neighborhood has limited sidewalks I.E only one side has sidewalks the other side is grass. lots of areas only have grass so you have to walk on the street, plus lots of areas have no poop signs because they maintain their lawns. overall it's okay but more sidewalks would be great. "

"I purchased my home here in Ridgefield Village HOA about 12 years ago, specifically for the 3 Schools (Elementary-Penn Elementary, Beville Middle/an IB Program School, & Colgan High school/which is a State if the Art New HS) I have a Son and desired him to attend in all three Schools. Our Community is Small, Quiet, Safe & Friendly with its Neighbors. We are within walking distance to shopping, Transit Bus line pick ups and my son will Graduate in the new upcoming 2021 Graduation Year, just as this Single Momma had Planned it all out when O chose our Home & Community 12 years ago! ALMOST THERE! ALWAYS BLESSED!!!!"

"They would love the hidden dog parks and open fields. There are a few places that have water bowls outside the door. Not a lot of poop bag stations though. You will hear barks at night so don’t be too worry about your dog waking people. I genuinely believe people don’t really care "

"Beautiful neighborhood and playground for dog . The only thing paying for living for their dog is something they would not like "
