"I drive an hour south to Westchester and I use Rossway Rd to the Taconic State Parkway very easily. Almost never an issue"
    • Crystal Phillips
"There aren’t very many events anymore unfortunately there is pleasant valley day which used to be fun but everything is now so expensive it’s not worth it "
    • Theona J.
"My family lives here! Every time I visit, I have a great time. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly"
    • Amanda C.
"my commute to Poughkeepsie (the closest city and where I work) is about 20-25 mins. It's not too busy except for rush hour."
    • Chalsea S.
"They’ll like that it’s quiet and peaceful. No one is bothered by the noise of your pets cause everyone has one. "
    • Kaitlyn M.
"I lived here and found it very safe. Especially as compared to Poughkeepsie. Schools are not very safe however "
    • Monica M. B.
"We like living in the country and this is a small town. But it also has a suburban feel to it also. Plenty of restaurants, grocery and things to do in the area. Despite my response to 'is this area neighborly?' being in the minority, that has been my experience here. I live in a small apartment complex and for the most part, people seem to keep to themselves. Most are working jobs and I'm not so that figures into it. The other piece is with my disability and having one car to share, I end up having to stay home except when I have a doctor's appointment or we go out to grab a quick, cheap bite to eat. I don't get to enjoy all the area has to offer at this time."

    • Pat B. A.
" We love our privacy and our privacy neighborhood is full of people from every walk of life. Nature is a big part of the Hudson Valley, and there is so much to do & see...or just kick back and enjoy the peace and tranquility."
    • Pat B. A.
"we have been here for 23 years. you can have privacy or be as connected as you choose. came here for the Arlington School District, and it was worth it. Pleasant Valley is a better on taxes than many of the surrounding areas. Half way between Albany & NYC. AS GOOD AS IT GETS IN NEW YORK! "
    • gpietrusze
"Terrific for families...large property...soccer, baseball with the kids...plenty of room for pets...very quiet area...private street!"
