This school is horrible vaping is all over the place, the principal is terrible, the athletic director is a people pleaser and guidance should not have jobs with how bad they are. The only bright spot about this sorry excuse for a school is that the teachers genuinely care about what they are teaching but the curriculum is so bad that me and my classmates are not learning much of anything.

As a parent of a child with a diagnosed disability, I am extremely disappointed in how the Lisbon School Department has handled our recent experience. Despite informing staff of my son’s medical condition, he was publicly humiliated, misunderstood, and treated in a way that lacked compassion and accountability. Attempts to raise concerns were dismissed or redirected, and the district failed to take responsibility or offer a genuine resolution. Communication is poor, and there is a clear lack of understanding around disability accommodations and students’ rights.No family should have to fight this hard for basic respect, awareness, and support. I hope meaningful changes are made, because right now, the system is failing the very students it claims to protect.

Do not send your children here, unless you're a townie. My daughter attended this school for 4 years (k-3rd). In 2nd grade a child stood up in class a claimed he'd brought a gun to school. Rather than suspending him, they simply asked him to apologize to the whole class and he was back just a few days later. My daughter was bullied and struggled the entire time she was here, despite her being the sweetest kid. The superintendent will send you generic messages if you voice concern, but nothing will be done unless you threaten them with a lawsuit. She now goes to school over an hour away to escape the chaos and abuse, and she's thriving. Run, and move out of lisbon/lisbon falls if you value your child's emotional well-being, and education.
