  • Anna Gomez
"The neighbors look out for one another. Roslyn has a great school district. Roslyn Estate has no sidewalks. It’s hard to take a walk. With without having to think about getting hit by a car. Some of the new drivers are careless."
  • Cyril Cheriyan
"Plenty of dogs and their dog walkers. All dogs are leashed and walk all throughout the day. There are different types of dogs. "
  • Vittash
"I live here for 16 years and I like it. Nice park nice neighbor nice restaurants and close to the train station. Go to the city."
  • Trulia User

  • Jacqueline N.
"Nice for long walks, nature spots to visit. Lots of other dog owners. A dog run in nearby Christopher Morley park."
  • Mimipetsitter
"Quaint area. Parking available on street or in LIRR station (free parking LIRR). Quiet neighborhood. Dog & Kid friendly."
  • Mimipetsitter
"LIRR is close by my residence and about 45mins into NYC. Roslyn train runs very well and plenty of trains/times for morning commute. But Roslyn trains don’t run well during bad snow they’re often late but Mineola station is also close by 15mins away and it gives a better option during these times. Roslyn is a decent commute."
  • Sean.m
"Great restaurants. Historic town. Small movie theater. Wine shop... Very charming. This is a great place to live or visit. Very highly recommended."
  • Persa M.
"It’s beautiful, quiet, peaceful with a lot of parks , lakes, green trees that makes the area exotic and dreamy at the same time "
  • Rlborkenstein
"I grew up in Roslyn and lived in Roslyn Heights after school for 20 years. It is a beautiful and friendly area to live in. It is a highly rated school district and I would not hesitate to raise my children there."
  • crazycaramel123
"Very racist and unfriendly place... it's a shame. Really good schools, but the kids are spoiled brats."
