Many staff members remember their students names by memory witch I would not be able to do. I came to this school and from my experience It was a fun way to learn in school. I enjoyed the fun projects that we had. The thing this school should improve is the mathematics curriculum called common core. It makes it challenging for the students and makes it hard for them to understand. Also they should give more homework assignments to students. Many of my teachers would always help out if a student was struggling. So many teachers are nice and helpful. the field trips were fun for example we went to the Chabot space and science center and California Academy of Sciences. Another field trip was the Exploratorium in San Francisco. The 5th grade field trip that I liked was when we went to outdoor ed in Westminster woods.

The Principal here is fantastic and the kids really like and respect him. The teachers my student have had have been very solid for the most part.

Vintage High School is one of the best schools in the Napa Valley Unified School District. I think there is an imbalance between the two main high schools (Napa High has a significantly higher amount of low income students and has a higher need for ELA funding). Not sure if this is based the district boundaries, where Vintage tends to get the wealthier areas. Anyways, Vintage is a great academic institution and has a great English Literature program.
