    About this House

Acreage Addition and Price Reduction! These additional acres are pending approval for a new conservation program.Build Your Dream Home on the Shoreline of Middle Lake! Conveniently located a short driving distance from Mankato, St. Peter, New Ulm, and many other small communities. The buildable area comprises +/- 10 tillable areas with a high enough elevation to have breathtaking east-facing views of Middle Lake. Middle Lake is the second largest lake in the county at 1,990 acres. Middle Lake is classified as a Natural Environment Lake by the Minnesota DNR. Middle Lake is located just east of Swan Lake, which is widely known for being the largest Prairie Pothole Lake in North America and having a deep-rooted waterfowl hunting heritage. Middle Lake should not be overlooked from a waterfowl hunting perspective. Many locals have found great hunting success on Middle Lake during the waterfowl season. While this property feels secluded, it is only one mile from a paved state highway, making for an easy commute to many area communities. The buildable area is somewhat customizable; the current owners are open to moving or rearranging the surveyed acres of the buildable site based on the desires of a new owner.

"A family centered community, highly rated schools, low crime rate. Close to both Mankato and the Twin Cities. Higher taxes."

"Great schools, great parks all over the city, and forward-thinking city government priming the area for affordable long-term growth"
    • Rebekah R.
"If you want to live in a small town in Minnesota, St. Peter is the place to choose. It's a lovely town with a great college- Gustavus,, a new Food Co-op, great coffee shops, a lively Arts Center, a beautiful public library and community center, good schools and friendly people. If you want mall shopping, you are only 20 minutes away from Mankato and most every big box store. This particular house is across from Minnesota Square Park where the Rock Bend Folk Festival and Old Fashioned Fourth of July happen. It's within walking distance of the downtown and the college. This is a perfect location in a perfect little town. "
