"Love it! So gorgeous out here and being surrounded by farmland is so awesome! Only drawback is the parking, streets seem to fill fast so don't count on being able to park there. But still so worth it!"

"it's a great quiet area to raise a family. the schools are good. there's a great water park. beautiful scenery that you can see right from your backyard could take nice quiet walks bike rides you don't have all the hustle and bustle is that the city has police patrol very well and it is a great place that you can feel safe and comfortable and not have to run into on the homeless begging for change you have some shopping areas up on the mountain so you don't always have to go into the city my mother just moved up there recently and she loves the peace and quiet"
  • Evita B.
"I love to walk in Van Buren to enjoy el paseo de luces and the scenery and the food in the evenings "
  • Ron N.
"Walking & jogging paths, walk to retail centers, family friendly, easy access to Phoenix & highways"
  • chrisg1328
"Edge of the city quiet, easy to navigate neighborhood streets, walking/jogging paths, a small park within a 5 minute's walk. Shopping, a gym, fashion, discount and specialty stores at the Target Plaza a mile North. Lots of fast food restaurants too. Phoenix Int'l Raceway less than 7 miles away with an adjacent access to a Gila River recreation area. Dairy farms to the East, expect some flies in the summer months. A crop-rotated field, across 99th ave, allows for mild temperature decreases throughout the year, when planted. A view of the Estrella mountain peaks can be seen from the backyard, sometimes snow can be seen on them in the winter."
  • chrisg1328
"Peaceful neighborhood, kids board the school bus at my corner, no problems. Great view of the Estrella Mountains, challenging fishing opportunities along nearby Gila River, PIR Nascar events in the fall. Some undeveloped fields around the area, otherwise nicely kept community plants. Joggers and pet owners move through the neighborhoods in the mornings and evenings, families on bicycles lazily glide the street blocks on weekends. Distant music from parties and nice breezes make for some great evenings. Nearby shopping, i.e. Target, Kohl's, Wal-Mart, Fry's Food, Ace hardware and lots of fast food places minutes away, yet only one nearby gas station. A mile away to the east, dairy cattle are penned and field crops of corn and hay are alternated, during the growing season, just across the way. Neighbors are kind yet reclusive, very little conflict and even less neighborhood crime ever occur. All in all, the good out weigh the not-so-good. And I'm content."
