It did take on some water from Hurricane Helene (like almost all other ground floor places on the island that have NEVER flooded before). Everything wet has been removed, leaving you with a blank slate to finish as you'd like. This waterfront home has tile floors throughout most of the main living area and halls, carpets were removed in bedrooms. The ROOF was replaced in 2015 and is fine and the A/C is fine. Owner was wise enough to place the A/C condenser on a raised platform and the air handler is located above the ceiling. Renovate to your own taste or build a new elevated home with 2 car garage underneath. Owner would consider putting drywall back in if someone wishes to remain on one level. Permits for rebuilding on ground level need to be in by April 9, 2025 per Holmes Beach Building Dept or you will be required to elevate. Boat lift was rebuilt with new switches and aluminum frame, and was rewired before storms. It needs 2 motors (approx. $200/ea. he thinks). There is a public boat ramp at the end of the street. A wonderful opportunity to live on the water on Anna Maria Island! Also a great vacation rental (weekly rentals allow). Much of the rebuilding in Seaside Gardens will be entirely updated - creating a more valuable neighborhood! Even Pet Friendly (no size restriction)! You can even add a pool if desired. This is a must see!

    "Palm Harbor Subdivision is just a five minute walk from EVERYTHING. There is a Publix grocery store, CVS and Walgreens, great coffee, salons and even church, but most importantly, THE BEACH. It is a great communting area because you can get to I75 in 20 minutes. "

    "I lived on this street years ago. The view is now blocked by the next streets put in behind it blocking water views. The golf course is there so the homes get hit constantly with golf balls. Believe me, I lived there for 4 years! Windows were broken Dings into the side, front and front door etc. I would go deeper in for better views or to the very end of the streets. Schools are not good, I don't recommend the area for families with young children. Just my opinion but my children went to private schools. Pricey home without a pool. I can't believe there's no pool."
