The annex is horrible. A few of the teachers in the annex are extremely inconsiderate and indifferent towards their students. Advocating for yourself in this school is impossible. Some interactions can feel discouraging, and at times it feels difficult for students to advocate for themselves without fearing academic consequences from their teachers. At times, it feels as if advocating for yourself can negatively affect the way certain teachers treat you or grade you. Additionally, the workload is rigorous, which is expected from a rigorous school, but when stacked on top of endless exams it gets tremendously difficult to keep up. Furthermore, there is no culture in the annex building, as there are absolutely NO events happening other than a few dress down days once in a while. Constant exams, homework, and yelling create a recipe for absolute misery. A rigorous school environment means absolutely nothing if students feel constantly stressed and unheard from their teachers.

Mi hijo cursa actualmente el 3 grado, a asistido a esta escuela desde el primer grado, cada año escolar la fatiga emocional y la ansiedad llenan nuestro hogar, en esta escuela no se preocupan por la salud mental ni el bienestar emocional de los estudiantes, los profesores son incapaces de mantener un ambiente alentador y desarrollar a los estudiantes según sus características individuales. Es una escuela sin sentido a la creatividad y la expresión personal, los niños son tratados como números y pretenden igualarlos a todos según sus propias necesidades para manipularlos mejor. Los niños con propias cualidades y diferencias son reprimidos y acusados constantemente de quebrantar las regalas de la escuela sin darle la oportunidad de tener luz propia. Cómo madre me han hecho sentir que mi hijo es lo peor del planeta y que no tengo ningún derecho sobre el, es como una prisión, con muros impenetrables y reglas ortodoxas que solo ellos deciden. Y me han dejado claro, la dirección de la escuela que si es nuestro deseo el retirar nuestro hijo de la institución tendría que dejar mi hogar, puesto que es la escuela designada por la dirección del domicilio. Han sido 3 años muy frustrantes para toda nuestra familia.

Great school and I got the chance to meet with cool people and have great classes

The school is great. Everybody is really nice. It's really nice to make friends with other people there. The security guard are also really nice. The teachers are really willing to teach you.
