Cottage is great as a retreat or expand to the guest cabin and garage loft for family/entertaining. Partially furnished (4 twin beds, 2 full beds, sofa and full hide-a-bed, ping pong table). Officially a three season cottage, we spend lots of toasty weekends there in the winter The fireplace, baseboard heaters, year round pump house and a decent portable toilet go a long way to making life comfortable. XC ski or shoeshoe out the front door. Property features: Raised garden beds with stone embankments; lakeside fire pit; L-shaped dock; and a private setting. The lot to the east is vacant and there's a small cabin with an out-of-state owner (Montana) about 1/8 mi to the west. North Twin Lake: A 53-acre silent sport lake (no motors allowed) that's great for kayaking, canoeing, fishing and swimming. The cottage is a moderate elevation above the lake with steps leading down to dock. Visually beautiful, rugged shoreline. We swim off the dock all summer (if friends or family with young kids want to spend the afternoon on a sandy beach, they head to nearby Lakewood Resort for a few hours). Recent updates: Cottage - kitchen counters and sink; bath vanity; new flooring throughout (laminate and carpet) and new baseboard heaters. Guest cabin - new roof, updated 3/4 bath including new shower. Location: North Twin Lake, 7 miles east of Cable WI on Cty Rd M between Lake Owen and Lake Namakagon. Well-known area for mountain biking, XC skiing, golf, water sports and hiking. Cable's not big by anyone's standards but that's the point. You'll be suprised what's available to see, do and eat!
