    "I live in this peaceful setting and love it! Basswood Dr. is a low traffic, half mile, paved, loop drive that is excellent for walking, bike riding. Schools are in nearby Toutle (3 miles away) and this is on the bus route. Toutle also provides a post office, gas station and grocery store. A public boat dock is only a half mile away, and the Mt. St. Helens Visitors' Center is only a few miles down the highway towards I-5. "

    "This is beautiful, serene, and surrounded by nature. Scenic views of Mt. St. Helens and Silver Lake. Moderate temperatures in the summer, and a nice cool temperature in the winter. But never too hot or too cold. A nice neighboorhood and friendly atmosphere. It can't get much better."

    "This little subdivision is a great place to live! Friendly neighborhood, low HOA dues (only $180/year) which are used to maintain its 16 acres of common grounds which contain nature trails, a beach, and private dock. The main road, Basswood Drive, is now county owned and maintained, so no more special assessments for road maintenance! "
