One of the best schools I have visited! The school culture is very welcoming. Every morning the principal stands outside to welcome every student. The teachers there spend hours of overtime each week (if you drive by there are cars there around the clock!) planning hands on lessons for the students. I have been very impressed with the focus on academics in a perfectly developmentally appropriate atmosphere! My child is reading 2 grade levels above her current grade, and her test scores are magnificent! Can't beat this awesome bundle in a school!

They accused kids of racial comments with no proof

There is so much bullying to other students. Said bullies are never held accountable. They are free to say hateful things and never be punished.

The house system in my opinion is too loud and too forcing upon the students. My child was told by a teacher that if he didn't stand up and dance she would write him up in the notebook and give him ISS. In the morning on Fridays, there is a pep rally, where the students all dance and yell and sing. My child has told me that every single Friday they are blasting music and it gives him headaches and ruins his love for Fridays. I understand what the school is trying to do with the students, but I wish they could understand that not every student wants to scream and yell every morning on Friday.
