6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a horrible school. They rely on YouTube videos to teach the math lessons. The classes are to crowed and the school doesn’t enforce boundaries with the teachers. One teacher emails all times at night and on the weekend about general stuff. The school adopted the Eureka math book which is tedious, boring and perform so many unnecessary steps to teach basic multiplication and to find an area. My daughter and I both liked math until forced to make squares and circles to solve a simple multiplication problem. Sometimes the old way of teaching is better. The Eureka math book should have limited use or dropped from the curriculum. I pay extremely high school tax and my child deserve better.Parent Review3y ago6 Reviews - Boyertown Area Junior High School-West

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent that has gone through this school system myself, not much has changed while having my own children enrolled in the district's public school system. Elementary school was a fantastic experience, with caring teachers, but in middle the emphasis is always on the gifted and sports related curriculums. All other students are just a face in the crowd, which is sad to say the least. There are too many fights in the middle school classrooms and teachers do not have the back-up or ability to handle classroom management anymore (for many reasons). The kids rule the classrooms. I give this district a C-/D at best.Parent Review3y ago2 Reviews - Boyertown Area Senior High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLow key this place gotta be the most racist school, I’m white but the amount of slander I hear to minorities is just insane. You got kids brining in 3d printed pocket knives and kids pulling fire alarms. This stuff gotta be taken care of. Other than that’s it’s just a mediocre schoolStudent Review3mo ago7 Reviews - Boyertown Area Junior High School-East

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe councilors here at BMSE are amazing and so are all of the teachers. School is so much fun and I always love going everyday. I am in 8th grade right now so it's the end of BMSE and I had a great experience. This school is definitely fun if you have the right grade, if your grade combined with the other schools are not very well behaved then the year might be rough. My grade have behavioural issues which is fine but it is more exciting. I would recommend to practice locker locks because about half of the lockers are old and don't work very well. The lunches are great and you have the chance to decide how much you want to eat with the amount of money you have. The special education at BMSE is amazing. Every child gets their own helper and they help them throughout the day. When I see them in their room or in the hallways they are always having so much fun and learning so much. I love BMSE and I would definitely recommend this school! Hope you come and have an amazing experience!Student Review2y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near 422 E Moyer Rd.

"I drive, so my commute is easy. The roads could use some work, but the east commute around the area is fine. "

"Our neighbor is very peaceful and mostly quiet with the exception of the summer. We have motorcycle enthusiasts in our area. Other wise it’s fairly quiet! Just 2 blocks from West Pottsgrove Elementary School. "

"During nicer weather the local village has events. Music and sometimes a fall festival. Mostly people keep to themselves. However everyone is friendly if by chance you see someone. Area is heavily wooded so usually don’t see too many people. Mostly wildlife. Which I am fine with. "

"I’m a driver, but there is plenty of public transportation all over this area in which you can efficiently get from point A to point B. Some of the Accessible transportation nearby are the A B C D 1 and 2 trains, not sure of the number of local and express buses but can easily get them around here."
