7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThank God we moved out of Morris. If you are not a native of Morris, a diehard football fanatic Or in a particular group or click, you are not accepted or wanted. Football is all they care about. My son was not in football, was largely ignored by the populous and grades showed he had a problem. Did they care, nope. We moved and I have to tell you that his grades scored and interest and personality. Because of his grades after we left Morris, he got a scholarship to college. It’s the town. If you are not a native or a jock on the football team, you are not welcome or worth their notice. Some teachers are good. No opportunity to stretch your mind. So glad our kids no longer attend. Best move we ever made.Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 422 E Illinois Ave.

"it's a small town atmosphere but bigger then you think. I live in downtown Morris for 10 years now, I'm 29 and lived in the city and also lived outside a town with a population of 73 in deep country Wisconsin. Morris has the mix of both and seems to be a great place to raise your kids. Morris has some fun events, okay schooling, history, great children sports, not too far from Chicago and Joliet, and clean. "
