Tenants on the property tend to be TAMU/Blinn students, both undergrad and graduate. We've housed western and English riders, TAMU Rodeo, TAMU Equestrian, TAMU Horse Judging, from donkeys to stallions we've had them all.
Room for two horses included in rent, with access to:
(2) 12x12 horse stalls
(2) 50x50 paddock/turn outs
(2) 10x10 tack rooms
(1) private pasture

The rental unit is half of a duplex featuring a living area, kitchen, pantry, laundry closet, 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 4 closets, covered front and back patios, and an individual pet-friendly fenced back yard. ~1050 sq ft unit is equipped with a washer and dryer, refrigerator, stove (cook top/oven), dishwasher, and garbage disposal. Stained concrete floors throughout make for easy cleaning. Updated central HVAC unit for eco-friendly electric bills. High speed WiFi access is included at no extra charge. All other utilities are the responsibility of the tenant.
The duplex is located on a 10 acre quiet, park-like property which also includes an additional 2 unit duplex and a historic 4 bedroom home. The entire property is fenced with only one entry/exit to provide a safe and somewhat secluded community. Country ambiance abounds with a windmill, a rustic barn, small pond, mature oak trees, breathtaking views of sunsets towards the Brazos river, and close proximity to Lake Bryan providing live music, water-sports, and eats. Tenants have access to a communal deck with built in seating and a picnic table under large oak trees, community BBQ pit, and a campfire area for the nights under the stars. 15 minute drive to Texas A&M West Campus, 20 minutes to Blinn.
Stalls and tack rooms are lit and have access to power and water for adding fans/bug zappers and filling troughs with ease. Your horses would exclusively share a fenced pasture adjacent to your paddocks, and have access to an optional commons area to graze in. (You take full care of your horse, we do not offer any horse/animal services). If you have more than 2 horses, please reach out and we can go over options.
By submitting an application, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review the landlord's tenant selection criteria. The tenant selection criteria may include factors such as criminal history, credit history, current income, and rental history. If you do not meet the selection criteria, or if you provide inaccurate or incomplete information, your application may be rejected and your application fee will not be refunded.
Every tenant above the age of 18 living in the unit will be required to apply and sign the lease. Background and credit checks are performed on each individual applicant. Please reach out with any qualification and availability questions BEFOR APPLYING.
