The school overall is a pretty good school. The principle there helped me out personally to help me pass.

Extremely happy with this school! After 11years of sending our children to private school, we decided to give the public school system a try. We were told that MCJHS was a bad school. I think those opinions were based on test results and comparison to neighboring schools. We did a bit of research and found out that for years parents would send their children to neighboring schools because they were considered"gifted". Some people even moved out of the school district. Most of who remained were not considered gifted, or were not able to afford the move. We sent our children to MCJHS the last two years, and found a well experienced and dedicated group of teachers, who challenged our children to do their best. I cannot forget the seventh grade science teacher who paid each of his students $20.00 for an advance on the ileap! The principal and his two assistants are at school so late, that I think they live there. Guidance is excellent! She was willing to take my kids in her office and helped them when they had some problems with math. One drawback is parental involvement. We need to help out however we can, so teachers can do their job of educating our children.

I just wish i can find my daughter Tayah Claire barras school pictures or something.
