Larry very generously dedicated much of his time to preserving the history of the area. He was also part owner in Simpson's Old Time Museum and Skeleton Creek Productions Movie Studio, an eccentric downtown tourist attraction. There was never a city parade or benefit he wasn't supporting or leading. During the late 60s and early 70s, the Simpsons donated land behind their homes for a premier baseball camp. Many local kids share found memories of attending those camps. Larry was very proud to be an integral part of Enid and its history.

"There is a nice local dog park area next to a large pond. There are 2 separate areas, one for small dogs and one for the larger dogs. It is fenced and water is available. It’s a great place for a doggy play date or to meet other dog lovers. "
  • Desiree L.
"there really isnt much to do here for the kids. growing up there was so much to do, but the mall has officially died and what little things there are to do cost quite a bit! definitely isnt the same from when I was living here growing up."
