About this House
This is a wonderful Neo-Traditional single-family home that corners a family-centered neighborhood. For the past five years, we've been very busy strategically updating our home, bringing it into the 21st century. The Exterior of our home and detached garage was re-stuccoed and painted. To enhance the curb appeal of the house we have re-sodded the front yard and planted nearly 100 plants. Also, a new sprinkler and lighting systems were installed. The entry, from the side walk to door step was replaced with a modern design. Both front and back doors were replaced with custom ones. The exterior focal point, a huge Bay Window was replaced. The block wall was extended and covered in a smooth concrete finish to enhance the modern theme. All new concrete work was poured throughout the side patio, drive way and backyard space. New, custom wooden gates add a natural touch that breaks up the concrete walls and ground. Finally, the roof was replaced to complete the exterior renaissance.
In the interior of the home, the original, light-brown tones in the wooden floors and brick fire place create a warm and inviting feeling. The interior of the house was recently painted from ceiling to floor to freshen up the living space. The house now has crown molding and baseboards throughout. The antiquated boiler was replaced by central heating and air and a new hot water heater. One of the bathrooms was gutted and updated with a rain shower and 1/2 in glass shower panels and door. New toilets, fixtures, tile floors in the bathrooms and new appliances in the kitchen add rich appointments to the functional household spaces.
