    "We have a community owned waterfront on the Pamlico River where you can go for picnics or swim without anyone bothering you. Most often you are the only people there except for the neighbors who walk the neighborhood everyday. It’s one of the nicest neighborhoods in Washington, NC"

    "People walk their dogs on leashes. Some people have underground fences on their properties. A few dogs wander freely due to the quaintness of the neighborhood. I have never seen a dog or cat get run over in the neighborhood due to people being used to seeing dogs in the neighborhood. It is a wonderful river front neighborhood that has children riding bikes and neighbors using golf carts on the roads. A very safe place to live."
