9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter went to this school for one and she was heavy bullied by somebody with a disability she was slapped hit and she's also disabled. school never took matters correctly into hands. told my daughter to ignore the bullying. my daughter suffered 1 stroke. from the underlying stress and thousands of freezes up meaning she couldn't move her body I gave the school doctors notes everything for them to stop the bullying but wouldn't because the student had a behavior problem. my daughter was having so much anxiety it was terrifying. I can't believe what this school put my daughter through. and when she finally fought back after being hit multiple times with things inside PE. she defended herself. she got suspended and was told to apologize? in front of the whole school for her actions. actually, I'll never recommend this school to ANYONE. and my daughter told everything to teachers the head they did nothing but talked it out which didn't work at all. worst school my daughter has ever been to more like a prison.Parent Review2y ago15 Reviews - Forest Park High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMoved from AZ to Va a couple years ago. Two kids in Saunders Middle School has been a great experience. Now our oldest is finishing up her freshman year and she has been loving it. For a very shy, timid, smart young lady I was worried about how well she woukd fit in. Well, I have been happily surprised as to how much she has excelled here and how much she loves going here. She has made good friends in the marching band and lacrosse. Teachers have been amazing, she feels like she can speak with them honestly and be helped. Her councelor has taken the time to go over classes with her a couope times this year and has helped her select next year's classes. The school administration keeps parents informed of whats available and keeps us apprised of any issues that arise. My son attends the wrestling club here where the high school coach and assistant coaches hold classes for 5-15 year olds. My son is excited to go here for the wrestling. He is also going to take specialized IT engineering classes Forest Park offers. Lucky to have found such a great school.Parent Review1mo ago9 Reviews - Potomac Shores Middle

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI finished middle school two years ago and it's still as bad as it was, even worse maybe. The principal punishes entire grade levels for what a few group of kids does and many teachers, even my old English teacher quit because of the students there. Nobody at the school tries to learn and the teachers are too lazy for emotionally care for the students there. I personally was bullied by a bunch of boys during 7th-8th grade and NONE of the staff did anything about it and had the mindset of, "boys will be boys." Never once had one of them stopped weird rumors spreading about me and not once, did they try to stop the fights that the school got, seriously, when I was in 6th grade, there were fights that broke out everyday for two weeks. My younger sibling goes here now and the fights are worse than ever, there were wannabe gangs at this school, one "waffles" and the other "pancakes" that had many injured and the school did NOTHING about it until it got way too far. This school is average academic-wise but do NOT send any student with disabilities here, the students are rude and they'd just get bullied. The school then had a rule of run way halls where students had to walk on one side of the hallway in a path, which made MANY people late. Then the school had the nerve to do hallsweeps, there's no way someone could get to downstairs, loop to the staircase (taking a lap downstairs) and going to floor 3 without being late! Now kids can't even wear backpacks and the busses are always late to pick up students.Other Review3mo ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 4130 Marjon Ct.

"Friendly neighbors. Always see kids playing outside. My children are older now, but I think that is a huge plus for young families. Definitely shows a safe neighborhood. "

"It is a beautiful place if you like to live in the green. There is a lake in the community, and you can walk to Prince William Forest Park. There are also supermarkets within walking distance. For everything else, you need a vehicle, but you only need to drive up to 15 minutes to get to the place you need. An Omniride can take you, at peak times, to the Pentagon Metro Station in 40 minutes."
