"My commute is ALL THE WAY across town…7 whole minutes. To get to most things I can just go to Main Street and there’s a few roads that basically lead to everything in town"
  • Nikkole B.
"Small community with great people and a small businesses and the college area doesn’t make it a bad place to live it’s still a nice little town. "
  • Jamesbarry1983
"Friendly and neighborly, small town America feel and beautiful Main Street area. Hoping it stays this way for awhile"
  • Kailah C.
"The hills all around town make for pretty views of the Palouse, but Moscow winds can be ferocious in the early spring."
  • Ahnika J.
"There’s a great dog park, unfortunately there’s no area for small dogs. Most people have big dogs. You need to be careful if you have a small dog, don’t let them outside alone because hawks and owls are in the neighborhood. "
  • Soldoutsoulman
"People are seen walking their dogs on a daily basis in our neighborhood. I do not see dogs running loose. People take care of their dogs and it is a dog-friendly area."
  • Ariana S.
"It is mostly college students, but not horrible. Never had a problem with students being disrespectful or loud. "
  • Lourana S.
"People are very dog friendly. There is a dog park and a doggy daycare as well as lots of people you can hire to dog sit"
  • Matthew A.
"Moscow is basically one neighborhood. Which makes the town wonderful. Especially in the summer. But it’s so small that often you feel trapped "
  • David S
"It’s a dog friendly town. Folks clean up after their dogs and keep the leached when walking. We have a dog park in town, lots of trails and places to walk."
  • Kaitilyn y.
"It’s a small town with a fluctuating population due to the local college. Jobs are constantly freeing up. It’s a great place to live."
  • Matt H.
"Within walking distance to downtown Moscow"
  • Art a. J.
"Enjoy the warm ambience of the fireplace in the hardwood floor covered living room surrounded w floor to ceiling Pella windows. Relax on the deck watching the wildlife and taking in the pine scented tranquility. "
  • John P.
"My brother moved here for college in early '70's, married local girl, raised 3 kids. I have visited many times. Lovely town, positive healthy vibe at all levels; kids, sports, education, environment is clean, fresh and open. Low to moderate cost of living. Weather not too hot in summer, winters not too cold or snowy. If you like outdoors its great; biking, motorcycles, horses, dogs, hunting, fishing, kayaking, etc. Univ of Idaho and Univ of Washington (Pulman, WA 20 minutes west) provide excellent education for college kids and mid-career professionals.
