Room Description

The opening is for one of the 3 rooms upstairs, which is a private room unfurnished while the rest of the house is shared between the 4 renters. The 3 rooms upstairs have a shared bathroom and shower. The rent is $1250/mo + splitting utilities with 3 other tenants ~$40/mo on average. The tenants also choose to split getting a deep clean once a month and high speed wifi which is an additional $86/mo. House is in a cul-de-sac with a garage and street parking available, all brand new appliances, washer and dryer+ AC included. Neighbors are super nice and friendly.

Currently 3 early 30's/late20s looking for a 4th roommate in Oceanside. All are working professionals who enjoy having a good time but like to stay mostly professional during the work week but definitely still enjoy hanging out week nights and doing activities which usually consist of super smash on the switch, board games, watching sports, etc. During the week, half of us work from home so we mostly focus on our careers however.

Year-Lease then month to month, there is a $43 solar charge which is included in your rent already, but then the benefit ~$400/month of it are then shared to you as you split the utilities with the other members of gas and electric as well as water. They also choose to pay for wifi and monthly cleaning and would be expected for you to participate unless all agreed on cancelling it. Utilities split usually costs ~40$/mo after solar.

  • Jeff Nedelman
"There is no open space to exercise a big dog. Dog park? Forget that. Recently Oceanside, on Peacock Rd, covered over grass in the median and replaced it with gravel. The one nice place to walk is now gone. "
  • Jeff Nedelman
"This is not a place for big dogs. I have a Golden. There is nothing open space to run. Older residents rant at us. "
  • Lauren Mroz
"The neighborhood looks out for one another, very conveniently located by the shopping center and train. "
  • Lauren Mroz
"What makes our neighborhood unique is having shops (grocery, retail, nails, hair, gym, ymca, hiking trails), the train that takes you into downtown Oceanside to downtown San Diego, great local gems, Enzo’s, draft all within walking distance. "
  • Lauren Mroz
"This is a dog friendly neighborhood. You see a lot of people walking loops around and are courteous to most of the time pick up after their pups. "
  • Nicol S. G.
"Its a good neighborhood by the ocean very social and well maintained. It also has very nice shops around it and good restaurants."
  • Maura O.
"Traffic... other dogs barking. Not too many parks. Not too much shade for paws. Smaller yards. Don’t know what else to write to meet 100 characters. "
  • Amanda F.
"Very walkable neighborhood. People are wonderful. We’ve been here 11 years and enjoy the area Although, the area is becoming very dense. Lots of new construction. I don’t know how it will be in the next 11 years and we don’t want to find out"
  • Abby J.
"I hate the drive anywhere, but it’s not location. It’s the traffic. Good location. Close to the grocery, various restaurants, gyms, nail salons, doctors offices, vets, you name it. "
